Dit is een heel goede gids in het ontwerpen van een verwarmingsinstallatie op basis van pellets.

In de eerste hoofdstukken wordt ingegaan op de algemene basisbegrippen en kenmerken van een verwarmingsinstallatie. Tevens wordt het ontstaan en gebruik van pellets toegelicht.  

Vervolgens wordt in verregaand detail het ontwerp van een houtpellet verwarmingsinstallatie uit de doeken gedaan. Op een begrijpelijke en toch duidelijke manier wordt ingegaan op alle aspecten van een moderne verwarmingsinstallatie. Van modulering van ketels tot de opslag van de pellets, alles in eenvoudige en doelgerichte omschrijving. Ook de mogelijke combinaties met een zonneboiler, meerdere ketels in parallel en opslag van warmte worden behandeld.

In hoofdstuk 5 gaat men in op het detailontwerp van een pelletketel installatie en wordt de gebruiker op een duidelijke manier ingewijd over de technische aspecten en hoe ze te berekenen. Een installatie inpassen vergt ook respecteren van geldende bouw- en veiligheidsregels welke allen aan bod komen. Aan de hand van een uitgewerkt voorbeeld wordt je zelf in staat gesteld de theorie te toetsen. Praktische vuistregels voor een snelle check worden meegegeven.

In hoofdstuk 6 gaat men in op de installatie van de componenten in een woning en worden vele tips en trouble-shoot lijsten gegeven. Daarna wordt de fabricatie van de pellet en de marktontwikkeling ervan toegelicht.

Met het laatste hoofdstuk worden 7 praktijkvoorbeelden belicht zodat je ook een beeld en gevoel krijgt met de verschillende mogelijkheden en toepassingen van pellets. Voorbeelden voor woningen, een school en een centrale zijn behandeld.

Elke hoofdstuk is aangevuld met vele kleurfoto’s en heel wat verwijzingen naar andere boeken en ook internet-sites. Helemaal op het einde van het boek is er ook een bronvermelding met vele internet-sources alsook leveranciers, producenten en berekeningsprogramma’s !!  

Besluit : een prijsgunstig en goede handleiding, goed voor een installateur maar ook voor de gebruiker warm aanbevolen!
